Jeremy Strong recently gushed about his role in Deliver Me From Nowhere, the upcoming Bruce Springsteen biopic. “It’s honestly been one of the greatest working experiences I’ve ever had,” the Succession star, who plays Springsteen's manager Jon Landau in the film, told Deadline. “(Landau) has a lot to do with who Bruce is.”

Deliver Me From Nowhere follows the story of the making of Springsteen's 1982 album, Nebraska. Landau is often credited for influencing him both musically and personally. The Bear's Jeremy Allen White plays Springsteen.

“Bruce and Jon really opened the kimono to Jeremy and me” he explained. “The more I’ve learned about them and witnessed them together, it really is a love story in a sense between these two men. Jon has been so instrumental in helping to guide Bruce, coming into his life at a moment where Bruce was really at a crossroads.”

"It’s really a story about artistic authenticity in an increasingly synthetic world,” Strong added about the film.

Deliver Me From Nowhere is written/directed by Scott Cooper and is slated to come out later this year.

"Beginning production on this film is an incredibly humbling and thrilling journey. Bruce Springsteen‘s Nebraska has profoundly shaped my artistic vision," Cooper said in a statement. "The album’s raw, unvarnished portrayal of life’s trials and resilience resonates deeply with me. Our film aims to capture that same spirit, bringing Warren Zanes’ compelling narrative of Bruce’s life to the screen with authenticity and hope, honoring Bruce’s legacy in a transformative cinematic experience. It has been a great pleasure to collaborate with Bruce and Jon [Landau] as I tell their story, and their creative energy fuels every part of this journey. As well, I’m excited to reunite with my friend, David Greenbaum [president, Disney Live Action and 20th Century Studios], as he embarks on his new role at Disney, adding another layer of inspiration to this project."
