Outside Lands Unveils 2026 Lineup

The lineup for California's Outside Lands Music Festival is being revealed. The Strokes, Charli XCX, and RUFUS DU SOL will headline the San Francisco music festival. The event will return to the city's Golden Gate Park from August 7th through the 9th. The lineup also features The XX, Turnstile, Baby Keen, Djo, and more. OZZY OSBOURNE's Six-Meter Statue To Be Unveiled At Hellfest

Ozzy Osbourne will be honored with a six-meter statue at this year's Hellfest in France, with the entire Osbourne family planning to attend the unveiling on June 18th. Badflower Tour To Continue As Frontman Josh Katz Deals With Vocal Issues

Badflower's tour must go on. During the band's show on Friday in Salt Lake City, Josh Katz cut the show short and told the crowd he was scrapping their tour schedule due to vocal issues he's been dealing with. However, in a Monday night update, the singer clarified that the tour is not canceled and he explained that had a "full breakdown onstage" and was stressed during last week's show. Katz said that despite his vocal issues, and the toll it's taken on his mental health, he still feels supported, adding "certainly enough to continue with this tour and continue my career." Badflower's tour is set to continue tonight in Seattle.

Those Six New Metallica Sphere Dates Have Been Announced

We told you yesterday that Metallica was adding six more shows to their Vegas Sphere residency, though at the time they didn't say which dates. Now we know. The band has made it official: the new Sphere dates are October 8 & 10, November 5 & 7, and January 28 & 30, 2027. Fan club presales for both Legacy and Fifth Members begin today at 1pm ET/10am PT.

Sharon Osbourne Says Ozzfest "Absolutely" Returning

We told you a few weeks back that Sharon Osbourne was hoping to bring back Ozzfest. This week the widow of Ozzy Osbourne confirmed that she has every intention of bringing the heavy metal festival back. During a chat at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes this week as part of the MIDEM 2026 conference, Sharon again hinted that she is still planning to revive Ozzfest as a touring festival next year. “Yes, absolutely. Yeah, we’re gonna do it,” Osbourne said. “Well, the last one we did was 2018. It was just a month before Ozzy got sick...We were still gonna do it, but Ozzy couldn’t. And Ozzy and I would talk about it, and he’d say, ‘Do you think Ozzfest would work without me?’ And I’m, like, ‘Yeah, it’s a brand. It will work without you.’ And he said, ‘We should do it.'" After these statements, the official Ozzfest X account posted a graphic that read, "Ozzfest will return."

GUESS WHO: American Tour

Following our exclusive report last week that the reunited Guess Who – Randy Bachman and

Burton Cummings -- will tour America this summer for the first time in 23 years comes the official announcement. Dubbed the Takin’ It Back Tour, a nod to Bachman and Cummings filing and winning the lawsuit they filed against their former and co-founding bandmates – bassist

Jim Kale and drummer Garry Peterson as well as the last touring version of the band -- it will start on June 25th at the Mystic Lake Amphitheater in Minneapolis suburb of Shakopee, Minnesota with 23 shows through August 22nd in Seattle. They'll then head north to Vancouver for the finale on August 23rd. After that, Bachman will head back out with his latest version of BTO -- Bachman-Turner Overdrive. Former Eagles guitarist Don Felder, who will open the Canadian tour, which starts on May 26th in Moncton, will also join them south of the border. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am local at TheGuessWho.com.

Commenting on the tour, Cummings says, “Randy and I are incredibly grateful that our music has endured all these years. Knowing that people still want to hear these songs live means everything to us, and when we go out on stage, our goal is to truly honor the music.”

And Bachman adds, “I’m really excited about reuniting with Burton and touring again as The Guess Who. We created an amazing body of work together, along with memories that have lasted for decades, and those songs are still as strong as ever. I can’t wait to sing them with everyone very soon.” The two were supposed to tour the U.S. in 2020 as Bachman-Cummings, but the pandemic put an end to that. And, despite their differences over the years, they both say things are different this time.

BC: "I'm enjoying playing with him again. It makes me feel younger again. I'm a 78-year old now and sometimes I feel 21 again when I play with him. I've known him 61 years. There's a comfort of playing on stage with him."

RB: "And there's a mathematical equation that one plus one equals three. When we're

together there's another invisible magical thing that happens, which [Mick] Jagger and [Keith] Richards have. The magic is still there with The [Rolling] Stones. The magic's still there with us. It's great."

PETER GABRIEL: Third Full Moon, Third New Song

With the third full moon of the year this week comes "What Lies Ahead," the third song off Peter Gabriel's forthcoming album, o\i. Parts of the song date back to 1986, having played unfinished pieces of it on his Back to Front tour. He says, "On that tour, along with 'Playing for Time,' it was one of the songs that was played without words, as a work in progress. The song actually began with a melody that my son Isaac was playing with, and I thought, oh, that's really nice - I could build that into something... "I've always liked spiritual, inspirational music because sometimes people get to a different place when they remove themselves and are just present with this feeling of something else out there... "It’s a song about inventors and invention. My dad was an electrical engineer, inventor and I saw him go through the frustrations of not only trying to realize an idea, which has to normally go through so many iterations, but then to sell it, both to the people who've got the money and then to the outside world. So, I've always been curious about the creative process and how that applies to inventors."

The next song off o\i will be released on April 1st in conjunction with the next full moon. The album will be released later this year.

PAUL RODGERS: Returned to the Stage

Paul Rodgers performed for the first time since 2022 Monday when he was honored at the Adopt the Arts Sound and Vision Awards in Palm Springs, California. He sang Bad Company’s “Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy” and Free’s “All Right Now” backed by an all-star band that featured Extreme's Nuno Bettencourt, Steve Stevens from Billy Idol's band, Robert DeLeo

from Stone Temple Pilots, Phil X from Triumph and Bon Jovi, and Adopt the Arts founder and former Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver drummer Matt Sorum. Afterwards, Rodgers called it "an extremely joyful experience" in an Instagram post, and in an email he told us, "I could not have felt more love coming from a crowd than Monday night in Palm Springs at The Plaza Theatre, or more respect from the gifted top level musicians that I got to play with. The wait to return to the stage was worth it. IF ... this is to be my last live performance I am at peace with that." Adopt the Arts provides music education and creative opportunities for more than 3,500 elementary students in Los Angeles and the Coachella Valley.

Also honored Monday was Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler, who, like Rodgers, was backed by the all-star band led by Sorum. He did Sabbath’s “Paranoid,” “N.I.B.” and “War Pigs.”

RINGO: Staying on a Country Road

Ringo Starr has announced his second country album. Like Look Up, released last year, Long Long Road was also produced by T Bone Burnett and features collaborations with Sheryl Crow, Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle, Sarah Jarosz and St. Vincent. There are 10 songs in all, and the first single and visualizer video, "It’s Been Too Long,” is out now on YouTube and wherever you stream your music. Ringo says, “I’m blessed to have T Bone in my life right now and working with me on these records. After we did the last record, which I love listening to, this one just sort of happened. I like to say sometimes I make the right moves, like you can go left or right at any point, and one of the right moves was hooking up with T Bone for Look Up, and now for this one, which I’m calling Long Long Road, because I’ve been on a long long road.” Long Long Road will be released on April 24th.

NINE INCH NAILS: Will They Go Away Again?

A seemingly offhanded comment by Trent Reznor at a Nine Inch Nails show has fans wondering if this is their last tour. During a stop in Tulsa, Oklahoma Friday night Reznor talked about a show at the city's Cain’s Ballroom where a fan in the way back was screaming along to “Head Like a Hole.” He said that he thought, “This is all I ever wanted in life, to connect with somebody like that dude in the back.” Reznor then added, “I don’t know if we’re going to be touring anymore after this, but I’m proud of the show we’re doing right now. And I’m grateful that you’ve chosen to spend your evening with us tonight." And while many fans wonder what those comments mean, it should be noted that Reznor has done this before. In 2009 he titled the group's tour Wave Goodbye and said that he wanted to "make NIN disappear for a while." That goodbye only lasted four years as they toured behind 2013's Hesitation Marks. And while Reznor and fellow Nine Inch Nail member Atticus Ross have been busy doing film scores, Reznor said in a few interviews last year that their main focus for 2026 was new music from the group. Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour's former Essex farmhouse for sale for £1.1m

Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour's former Essex home, Woodley, is on the market for £1.1 million. Gilmour bought the property in 1970 and lived there with his wife Ginger during the height of Pink Floyd's fame. The property, set on 4.66 acres, features a music room, home studio, swimming pool, and outbuildings. In need of modernization, the house holds historical significance as the location for Gilmour's solo album cover shoot. Gilmour now owns a farm in West Sussex and a house in Hampstead, having sold his Little Venice mansion in 2003 to fund a homelessness charity project. Woodley’s subsequent owners have since passed away and the property is now being sold as a probate sale.

Twisted Sister Will Tour This Year - With Sebastian Bach As Lead Singer

Twister Sister will go on the road to mark its 50th anniversary -- they'll just be doing it with a famous fill-in for Dee Snider. Tuesday afternoon they posted a new version of their 1983 song "You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll" that featured ex-Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach on vocals. The caption of the video said, "Twisted Sister members Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda are thrilled to announce that iconic vocalist and frontman Sebastian Bach will be fronting the band for a handful of select dates this fall. These appearances do not affect or conflict with Sebastian’s current or future solo touring schedule, which remains fully intact."

Last September, Twisted Sister announced they were doing a 50th anniversary tour this year, but last month they scrapped all those dates due to Snider's "health challenges" that caused his "sudden and unexpected resignation" from the band. And Snider fully supports Bach as his replacement. He appears on Thursday's episode of the Beardo & Weirdo podcast, hosted by

Five Finger Death Punch bassist Chris Kael and comedian Craig Gass. They posted posted a preview where Snider revealed that when the band did a reunion tour in 2014 he tried to get Bach to agree to be a stand-in should he get sick. Snider said, "I was, like, dude, 'Will you be the fill-in?' And he goes, 'No way.' I'm like, 'What do you mean no way?' 'Dude, that's a thankless job. No, I'm not standing in for you. Never.' I'm, like, you're my student. You studied me. You're a great singer. You can do it. People will love it.'" Gass said he'd heard rumors about Twisted Sister rehearsing with Bach and Snider replied, "Yeah, I know there's been rehearsals with him. And he hasn't reached out to me. I think he knows he has my blessing. And I would never begrudge anybody continuing to rock." Last month Snider told fans he was doing fine but that "you won't see me on the stage kicking ass like I used to because that will mess me up. Thank you very much for cheering me on. I'm OK. I just can't do that anymore." The only date announced thus far with Bach is September 4th at the Alaska State Fair in Palmer, Alaska.

OZZY & STEVEN TYLER: One's Daughter Defends the Other's

Steven Tyler's second oldest daughter, 47-year-old Mia Tyler, has come to the defense of Ozzy Osbourne's youngest daughter, 41-year-old Kelly, after she was criticized for looking gaunt Saturday at the Brit Awards in Manchester, England while accepting a lifetime achievement award on behalf of her late father. Mia, who has long battled weight issues, writes on

Instagram, "Public grief is not public property. Grief can change a person. That doesn’t make their body a topic for debate. “Before you comment on someone’s body, consider the possibility that they’re carrying something heavier than your opinion. It takes real strength to stand in the public eye, accepting accolades for their late iconic father and hold themselves together in front of the world. “The least we can do is show the same grace in return. Kindness costs nothing. Cruelty costs character. It’s unsettling how quickly people will dissect someone’s appearance instead of honoring their courage. If you have the energy to comment, you have the energy to be kind. Choose accordingly.” Mia captioned her post, "How hard is it to not be [an expletive]?” Kelly reposted Mia's post following her own post on Sunday in which she said, “There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something. “Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most.” Like Kelly, Mia also lost a parent. Her mother, Cyrinda Foxe, died in 2002.

In the child sex trafficking lawsuit lawsuit filed last Friday against Michael Jackson's estate by the four adult Cascio siblings is the claim that the "King of Pop" raped and molested one of them, Edward “Eddie” Cascio, at one of Elton John’s UK homes. Elton has not responded to our request for comment.

Paul McCartney has paid tribute to guitarist Len Garry, his and John Lennon’s bandmate in The Quarrymen who died Monday at 84. He writes, “He was a lovely guy and I’m sad to see him go but glad that we had so many fun times together. Rest in Peace Len, Love Paul.”

The late Allman Brothers Band co-founder Dickey Betts has been honored in his home state of Florida as a stretch of U.S. Route 41 has been renamed the “Dickey Betts Memorial Highway." The stretch starts near Jacksonville and ends near Osprey, where Betts lived his final years before dying in 2024.

Tedeschi Trucks Band will do a signing for their new album, Future Soul, on March 22nd at Rough Trade Below in New York City. The album is due out March 20th.
